What is and Why CBD?
CBD is short for cannabidiol, one of the many plant constituents found in Cannabis sativa, also known as hemp. Pictured here is a flowering cannabis plant and a seedling. Not only are cannabis plants absolutely gorgeous and wonderfully aromatic, they contain many cannabinoids and other active plant constituents that are amazingly beneficial to our general wellbeing.
Extraordinary research is available regarding the benefits of cannabinoids and how we have a system in our bodies known as the endocannabinoid system, whose primary function is to receive and use cannabinoids to help balance the other systems within. There is a plethora of scientific data and many other up and coming studies regarding the amazing wellness potential for humans and other animals that use cannabis.
